Getting more and more nervous as Monday is getting closer. I have just about everything packed. About 8 days worth of clothes, all my paperwork, BC, DL, SS Card, ect. Have my Shower bag and flip flops. All i need to get is a good sleeping bag. Also taking a small ultra book with me too so i will be able to update here.

Day 1
Well i'm finally here in Conley GA at the Central Ref Terminal.
Day one was fairly simple, we filled out a ton of paperwork (felt like i was signing away my first born), did out DOT Physical which we lost 5 people on due to High blood pressure, and an assortment of other things. One person found out he had Diabetes because his blood sugar level was over 500. Felt bad for him. This part of the day was the longest and most boring. We got to the Terminal at 6am to get started, we didn't get finished with the Drug test and DOT Physical until past noon. Afterwords they bought us Pizza, gave us our lunch break and allowed us more time to meet with some of the other students and drivers. Around 1:15 we actually went into the class room to go over the Student loans and do the paper work for that, get more info on Central and what was expected of us as Drivers.
All in all it was a simple day, back the the hotel and have been since about 3pm. Hopefully tomorrow we will get a little more done and i'll update as well.Lady K Thanks this. -
Do they check your credit score for the student loan?
-
I don't think so... Both Hubby and I had lousy credit... No job and bill piling up... You get the picture.
-
Yeah I was told no credit check must be desperate and it makes me wonder about turnover and why it would be that high etc. but hey they pay for it no questions asked practically and give you a way to pay it off I'm just wondering how many do before leaving early
