i'll only comment on the obvious since i don't work for them..lying on app, failed drug test,failed drive test,and failing the physical. wish you luck

 

Be honest and put in an honest days work..pretty simple, nice company. Good people, fun people, but no bs and horseplay.. u will be fine...

 

Had a guy get sent home from my class, but it was a safety issue. He just couldn't get the shifting down and was stalling the truck in intersections and creating traffic hazards. They gave him a week, but he wasn't making progress. It's a very fast paced class, but if you put in the time and effort you'll get through it.

 

i run out of ellenwood and im in and out of there all the time...instructors are pretty laid back and they will help you as much as they can

 

They will do a hair test on you, make sure they follow all proper procedure on your sample, even if you have nothing to hide. They sent me home for this with no appeal or recourse ( I wrote a thread about it http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...-test.html?highlight=kicked+out+for+hair+test). Luckily the hair test is not industry mandated, so I have another job that I am doing good at.

Of the 12 people and one experienced, I was the third kicked out, one for having no driving skill, another for his doctor failing to provide medical info in a timely manner (he was going to come back when it was resolved), myself, and the experienced driver for failed drug test, who, I believe caused my failed test.

 

All you need to do is be safe and continue to improve

If you get Carlo for an instructor,don't call him carloS! He won't send you home but he don't like it! He had to tel a guy in my class every day that his name isn't Carlos it's Carlo! Don't run over curbs and don't hit signs. As stated earlier,continue to learn and improve every day and you will be fine.
