Anybody have any insight on "Pro star trucking" out of Watford, ND and Salt Lake City UT. They made me an offer today base pay plus bonus structure if I work 40-60 hrs a week on average and it goes up from. Looks like a fair offer after training hourly, Shouldnt take me too long Experianced hauling water and Vac trucks. 4weeks on 2weeks off. Researched them online couldnt find any real negativity. Just a big step quit a job at home of 2.5 yrs and venture on to the unknown. Any former or current employees out there?

4 weeks on and 2 weeks off.....it's more competitive than that. Better stay at currant job.

I don't know what that means, either. The Halliburton fracking crews work 4 on 2 off, for whatever that is worth.

Anyone hear anything on key energy packing up and leaving ND at the end of the month... Lots of drivers in williston have been talking about this... Anyone know anything more?

Sorry I wasn't more clear. 2 weeks off for 4 weeks on seems very generous. I know at the start when the shortage for drivers was extreme you would be offered incredible incentives...it is my understanding that a lot of these incentives are no longer needed, or offered to fill driving jobs. I could be completely wrong, I hope all drivers can find what fits their needs and make a great living.

I'm a new driver fresh out of CDL school. I landed a skype interview with MBI for this Tuesday. Can someone give me the lowdown on them. I've read some mixed reviews about them on this forum but if there are any current or former employees who want to weigh in, I would greatly appreciate it. I read on here that new drivers only get hired to haul sand. Is that true? and what's the difference in pay between hauling sand, water, crude, etc.?
A little about me: Like I said, I'm a recent CDL grad, with all my endorsements, but I do have previous experience operating Heavy Equipment in the Marine Corps. Will this experience help me land a better paying job, or is irrelevant when seeking a CDL driving job?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I probably don't have the answers you are looking for but if MBI wants you without experience, I think you are doing great! I'm hauling frac sand in ND, never made this much money in my life! Driving experience does help, though. Just today we did a tight hairpin back in in a mud pit. I could tell the drivers I was with were just so so, they didn't set up right. But, they were good enough, we worked together and got their trucks positioned correctly for the turn and they were fine.

Yeah, if you are looking at this kind of money just out of driving school, well done. All I know is MBI is one of the big players with big yards, we certainly don't have facilities like that. Semper Fi
