Every weigh station nationwide will be open day and night Checking logs, equipment, paperwork, the whole nine yards looking for violations to.Why don't a 72 hr sting go to companies and check all the many hidden violations they have.Only the drivers always gets the worst end of the deal.

Just treat it as a normal week, that is what I have the past two years and I have never been pulled in for an inspection even though I was ready for one. Over half of the scales I drove by during the past two "roadchecks" were closed anyway. LOL

They publicize the heck out of it, but in reality not all states actually participate.

that is so beyond the pale its akin to deceipt

they are calling trucks in for safety inspections and looking for things, no matter how small, to justify their annual blitz

it has nothing to do with log books, it has to do with inspection of the trucks

if you pull a trailer and the brakes are out of adjustment, you will be shut down,

now how about telling the folks how to drop and hook, inspect the adjustment of the brakes and get your load delivered without incurring the wrath of barney fife?

    cetanediesel and AZS Thank this.
