Haha, thanks. I just hope I get a good trainer, and not one thats just in it for the money.

 

Thanks, is there a general area, just trying to find out if you guys get stuck up in the north east on a regular basis if you live on the west coast.

 

Start in Conely on Monday. Do the rooms have microwaves.

 

I wish I could help you I am still out with my trainer and he is on a dedicated that has regular pick up and drops. I will get back in a few Weeks to let you know how things are for me on my own truck.

 

I leave the 23 to Memphis for my CDL training wish me luck.

 

Day 1 in Conely Ga is Done. It was a normal first day of any job if you ask me. They give you about 40 pieces of paper to read and sign. You take a physical they check your eyes, blood pressure, and that's about all. The make sure you are who you say you are by taking your ss#, dl, and bc. You get all of that done then you meet your classroom teacher and she gives you her rules and class schedule. She also give you a cdl mannual and study guide to help you with the book. We started today off early but tomorrow looks like we will have banker hrs. And that's about how the day went. I have to get my head in the books now.

 

A few things I forgot. The room is nice and the hotel is down the street from wal mart and plenty fast food near too. I think I made a wise choice to stay in the hotel. Home is only about five minutes away from here but I know I could not study like this being at home with the lil people 22 months and 9.

 

Today the class took the permit test. A few question I have seen before, but I passed 92, 95, 100. I maybe wrong but I think that how I scored. The test was easy after see the questions and asnwer only like 400x coming from the Atlanta class. I now have a permit so now I can begin training in the truck. The only bad part of my trip with CR has been the bus trip from Atlanta to Utah.
