I agree, but as vet combat or not. We have an enter understanding a bond regardless of what people think or do to us. We live and will with honor no matter how bad a situation may become. It sure feels good talking to fellow vets through. I did basic at Ft. Lenard wood, MO. Man we push Missouri into Arkansas LOL!

Desoto is a suburb of Dallas. This is my home. Called and got a ride to pick my other pick up truck, but your ID opens the gate at the yard. Wasn't for sure if my ID would still work or not. The good thing is that it did though.

I am glad that you all are reaching out to me. Thanks! I don't know why but since desert storm. preparing your mind for something like that. The only time I don't feel alone is at the VA or now talking to other vets. I kind of stay to myself and with my wife. I tend to hold a lot in, she would know what interlocking fire, land nav, PLDC,Anoc,Bnoc, humping ( the other kind) LOL!
cant survive hanging at the VA all the time. But you do fill safe.

I care about you solider, we know what it takes to love a country. There are a lot of civilian out there understands that now. I think a lot about the soldiers returning from Vietnam. I wish this country would make that right. but how? Everyone I see I will approach them and extend my hand in honor. To me, just an opinion are my greatest hero. I was a 12B combat engineer light infantry. My 1st Sargent was SF, and a tunnel rat in Vietnam. Man did I ever honor, he was a bad MF. He wasn't know bigger than a toothpick. But could run and hump forever! Thank for letting vent, it truly feel good today.

Sorry to hear this happened to you,
And Thank You for your service to our country -
Crete Carrier Corp Lincoln NE (TX terminal at Wilmer) has a Patriot Fleet. All veterans get a Patriot sticker for their truck and there are 5 special trucks representing each branch of service, each tricked out in camo, eagles, flags and dog tags. Pretty cool. This company is actively recruiting veterans. 800-998-9100 main switchboard, follow the prompts to get to recruiting. Check out their Facebook pages or utube videos. Best of luck to you and thanks for your service.

...."making $150 to $300 per week".
Why do you care what they do to you? You could (and im being quite literal) make more money just holding a cup at the bottom of an offramp.
Why would you get up in the morning for $50 a day? Get a job at burger king and bring home twice as much. If you and your wife worked for minimum wage flipping burgers, thats $125 per day take home... -
Thank you to all veterans from all wars in defense of my nation. I do not have to agree with the politricksters who make policy, since they do not ask the people of this country for direction, but I support you who followed orders.
My dad was a Marine medic in WWII and Korea, plus the first few years of Nam. Boy, did he have stories to tell. Medics are out there with the fighting, they are not surgeons back in the tents. He caught bullets and shrapnel, too. So, I salute all who were willing to fight and defend, even those who volunteered but didn't qualify or got any early discharge.
If I see a vet in line at the fast food place, I pay his bill. Some vets don't care but I do it for the memory of my dad as much as for them. It doesn't matter to me how the younger generations are raised with contempt for such things, as I cannot change them, and sadly that is the direction of the nation. But I can do something in gratitude for the nation that used to be. For without your willingness to fight for home, this place would have been gone long ago.
Some of us still care about sacrifice. -
Wow your dad is awesome! My uncle serve in WW11 and his brother, my dad served 28years.
