I didn't see and new volvos when I left down there Friday. Anyhow got to a shop had fuel filter changed again and they found sand in it. Got towed to a volvo dealer this morning now waiting for them to check it out.

Trade cycle is just starting now. We got all of the higher mileage trucks that are going in for trade down to FL so that they can get turned in as the new units arrive. We are expecting the first of the '14's to hit in the next couple of weeks or if not sooner. We already have 6 on the ground in VA being prepped before delivery.

Figure I got some time ill update. They rented me a car to pickup a trk in columbus, oh. Thing was filthy inside. They sent be to a detail shop to get it detailed tho so that was cool. Bobtailed to Cincinnati. Picked up and empty and deadheaded to Charlotte, nc. Drop and hooked trls at a tank wash and picked up a ld going to Iowa. So 6-1 to 6-7 got in about 2194 miles. Breakdown really hurt. Hopefully recover this week if I don't kill my hrs. Until next time I guess.

That time again I suppose. Spend allot of time at tank washes. O6/08 to 06/13 deadheaded from ia to ill to pu a ld going to md. Deadheaded down to va and pu a ld going to jersey. Had to avoid tolls added a whole hr and a half extra. But worth it I guess since I didn't have the cash. Pu a ld there going back to il. Ended up hitting one toll on way out of jersey tho cost me 20 bucks. Anyhow total miles for the week was only 2294. Kind of curious where this 3000 miles a week is at this point. Spend allot if time waiting to get washed or unld. Avoiding tolls don't help either dont know how its gonna work once electronic logs come in. Thinking teaming is way to go right about now once electronic logs hit I don't see myself making much.

They don't have prepass/ezpass or any toll/scale bypass??? Seems like a must for the areas you just mentioned!! Ill, Ind, Oh and NJ are killer toll areas. Elogs are taking a big cut in a lot of drivers pay and tank washes take a bunch of time out of the day.... I guess I'll stick with vans for now... LOL!!!
