Depends on the load. This load has no appt for pickup and no set time for delivery. I was set to pick it up today and deliver Thursday. I got held up at the port, so I was just told its ok to pick it up today and deliver Friday. No rush in it.
None of the loads I've had so far have had any appt's.

I hear you there, it does make the ride go faster. It's fun on the cb when they send a few of us to the same place, but rarely happens. Sometimes I don't even hook my cb up if in by myself, too many idiots on the cbDrtyDiesel Thanks this.

Hopefully no more blowouts with this trailer -
Knock on wood I've only had one tire go flat on me and I caught it on my post trip at the yard so I wrote it up on my inspection sheet for the dropped trailer.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
That tire blew out 2 miles before a weigh station on i44 in Missouri. I had one hour left on my 14, I had two choices, limp it and take my chance that the weigh station was closed, or get the tire fixed and run out of time on the side of the road, then run in violation right into the scale.....
So, luckily, 4 of us have been "parading" together down to Laredo from New York. Two went ahead and said they just closed the scales be side it was full of trucks, so I limped it down and it was closed by the time I went by it, a few miles west of the scale there was this flying j. Pulled in and parked. I got LUCKY!!!! -
HOW IN THE HELL did American Trucker get banned from here....he had THE BEST BLOGS!!!!!!!!!!?Weeble Kneeble Thanks this.

I 44? You picked up NJ right? Is it shorter for you guys to come down that way? I would have come down through VA, TN, AR, then through Dallas/Ft. Worth to Laredo. Oh well. You over in Joplin or closer to St. Louis? Can't remember where the scale is up that way. STOP BLOWING UP YOUR TIRES!!!!!
Darn recaps! Always let go in the worst spots or least convenient times.

Because of certain things he did or said got him banned, not everything he wrote was all positive and awesome
Lol, no we picked up in Wellsville, NY. Went west on 86, hit i90, i271, i71, I 270, 70 across to i44. It was about the 245 mile marker or so, maybe lower.
I hear ya, though I woulda been in violation either way. I'd rather get a ticket for a tire than a ticket and OOS for hours violation
me too!
