Hub miles? Actual miles? Miles, miles, miles!

Wal-mart. It is time for my last and final move. I like Knight, but paycheck to paycheck just isn't working for me. I was offered the "desk" and I really don't want that mental headache either. Last thing I would want is you calling me up asking me questions about a load or yelling at me that you didn't get paid for a trip!

Understandable. Just like any other company, it has to be good fit for you and them. I am a company driver, always will be. I believe I will be a good fit for Wal-mart. I plan on riding this bull to the very end!

House hold goods (hhg ) miles. You will drive about 6-12 percent more miles than you get paid for. Example: the company says the miles on a load are 1000 miles, but you actually drive 1100 miles to get there. Hhg is the shortest route.

Practical miles : The route you would most likely take with a large truck. The route would most likely include major highways . Example: your load pays 1000 miles and you drive about 1005-1030 to get there. Practical mileage pay is very close to actual.
