    Hello everyone,

My husband got a DUI in 2008. He's been unable find employment in truck driving because of it. he received an email from SRT and is set to leave for their orientation this Saturday. I'm scared that he is wasting his time. Does anyone have any info on DUI and employment at SRT? My husband is in desperate need of a job, and we cannot afford false expectations. please help!

All depends on the company and their insurance. Just don't let him go gettin a 2nd one or all bets are off!

I'm assuming you were up front about it with the company? If not pick up the phone and ask don't waste your time otherwise.

We all make mistakes, but too bad he didn't think about career suicide before he chose to drink and drive. :biggrin_25516:

    A DUI isn't a 'mistake'. It's a choice.

This DUI is less than 5-years-old, so it's highly unlikely your husband will get a job with a halfway decent company, and rightfully so.
