Our church has collected a large number of pallets for relief supplies, most are in good shape. Wouls like to know value before we sale them.

cant say for your city but in AZ it depends on the type if they can be picked up on all 4 sides with a forklift there worth 3-5$ per others are 1-3$ per

Back in the 80s I used to get $5 for a good pallet and $7 for a chep pallet. I'd just find out who buys pallets and asking what they pay. There has to be somewhat decent money in them because I see pickups loaded with them in Tulsa on the highway and I can't see 2 guys going to the trouble of finding, loading and hauling them for $40 or so.
Like most things they're always worth more when you're buying not selling them. I'd say location in the country has a lot to do with pricing. -
Pallets in my neck of the woods usually wind up on the back of an old pickup with Mexican tags.

a regular 40"x48" "4 way" with no busted boards or stringers goes for @ $5, and then depending on condition, down from there to the point that if all it's good for is firewood they might want you to pay them. it all depends on the condition and how honest the buyer will be with you.
