The business I own now has been tough the last few years to say the least. So whats your thought of starting at my age. Thanks

If you can handle being trained by a 28 year old, I say go for it. I started at 50

I don't think I would have a problem with there age. Thanks

When I went to training at the Swift Academy and there were a handful of people over 60 in there who was looking to get back to work. I always say your never too old to do something as long as you can function for the job.

You are never to old. It is not like it used to be out here though.

I just noticed I been looking at this form since 2010 time fly's. I originally was going to go with my brother in-law but his company requires 1 year experience to drive so he cant teach me. Plus I would like to get the class room training also. I applied at millis today waiting for a call back. I have been studying the book to get my permit might try that next week.

Not a chance. As long as you qualify through a DOT physical and don't have any serious medical conditions that would subject you to not be suitable for driving then give it hell! Good luck!

A 28 yr old with 6 mos experience no less...

I'd recommend a CDL training academy with a training company since it's quite a bit less relative to a private CDL school and also a lot faster too. In addition, if you complete the school successfully, they will also provide you with a job and further forgive the cost of your CDL training if you stay with them for about a year. However, if you should leave them before your year is up, you will have to pay them back for the cost of the CDL training, which is something you would have to do regardless if you otherwise attended a private CDL school that would also cost quite a bit more as well.
As for as your age, no problem...go for it!
