Ever used National Truck Protection - the warranty company

    Anyone every used National Truck Protection NTP. I saw that Paccar uses them or passes you off to them if you want a warranty on any used trucks you get from them.

    I am considering a used truck but want a warranty and would like to get feedback from anyone that has experience with them or any other suggestions you have on warranty companies out there.

    Just make sure you read through it first and have a really good idea of what is covered and isn't covered. I paid $2000 +/- for one from a Freightliner dealer. I should have read the fine print better because several things I would have thought to be covered weren't. It really just seems it is for major issues or at least the one I bought was.

    The logic seemed to follow - if the part can wear out, it isn't covered ( i.e. clutch )

    Best of luck I am just saying to look at it closely, first.
