Yes it is the worst company in 20 years that I have encountered. One shady business. Help put the word out. Every driver should know. Thanks for your reply.

I don't know about all that. Are you for sure that there are not worse companies? You may not have a pleasant dealing with them, but the last time I checked its slander unless you can prove it to be true.

slander n. oral defamation, in which someone tells one or more persons an untruth about another which untruth will harm the reputation of the person defamed. Slander is a civil wrong (tort) and can be the basis for a lawsuit. Damages (payoff for worth) for slander may be limited to actual (special) damages unless there is malicious intent, since such damages are usually difficult to specify and harder to prove. Some statements such as an untrue accusation of having committed a crime, having a loathsome disease, or being unable to perform one's occupation are treated as slander per se since the harm and malice are obvious, and therefore usually result in general and even punitive damage recovery by the person harmed. Words spoken over the air on television or radio are treated as libel (written defamation) and not slander on the theory that broadcasting reaches a large audience as much if not more than printed publication.

So, I just turned that into a so what...tell me, are you a Cleopatra office rat, or someone from Reputation Defender?

To keep all you drivers up on current events, I went to court 6-6-2013 and stated my facts. It didn't look good from the start but after 2 hours of fighting and name calling the owners of Cleopatra started seeing it the right way. All in all it went my way in the most part and they reimbursed me for my wages. But a funny thing happened along the way they must of seen I wasn't a monster and we shook hands and they offered my job back that was very strange that just an hour before hand we hated each other and now they want me to work for them.

My experience with cleopatra trucking is actually through another company called panther transport logistic. It is not the expedited company with the two panthers but the creation of Michael wessa and mark whatever his last name is. They started panther transport logistics in youngsville nc and I was hired as safety and dispatch supervisor. Man, the guy, who was their childhood friend did not know anything about trucking but sure he was a control freak and had to report him every five minutes about everyhing. He send me one day about 45 texts all about making sure that I did my job or not. They wanted the drivers be owner operators with company pay and wanted them to sign an IC agreement.Basically they did not want to pay benefits and workers comp. they advertised $1000 sign up bonus but they warned me not to mention that to the drivers when they signed up. They promised me that after a lout 3 months I will get a raise( otherwise I would not have worked for them cuz they offfered a very low salary). Instead they cut my hours which put me in an incredibly stressful financial situation. I quit and was very bitter but I see that panther is already red flagged by the FMCSA and I just hope that justice will be done and cleopatra will go out of business as well. These shady people should be tolerated. By the way, the only person I really liked while dealing with cleopatra/ panther was actually Sandra who was always very nice and patient with me. With that said cleopatra still sucks their safety rate is horrible and knowing the leaders, drivers should run far away from this company
