Yes we allow pets... Must be under 40 pounds. NON aggressive breed and your required to pay $750 NONREFUNDABLE deposit Per Pet,,,,,,,,, The payroll team will take $50 per week per pet till $750 paid. We already allow family and kids over 10 to ride. We can get fiancés approved if you submit a request to your FM.... According to conference call the ride policy will be opened up even more very shortly... Yes we are getting the Walmart business as well as Home Depot and Lowes and really was not mention if it was east west or on any fleet. I hope its nationwide.... Also the newsletter said Quaker was happy with our service performance and awarding more business to us. So as drivers just make sure you get there on time we are very busy. YES I know we have issues with trailers the company is aware and working to improve that. The bottom line Interstate is doing things to improve just enjoy the ride........ Anytime you guys got a issue or want to call me to get answers before coming on just give me a shout
Rocks and Dark_Majesty_06 Thank this. -
I gotta call in tuesday for the confrence call. Im on my second week and my only complaint is, I wish the kc fleet had our own fm. Were on with someone who has thier own fleet plus us. So tryin to get a appointment moved up or a preplan is really hard to do. I miss having my fm phone number and being able to text him any time of day or night. Weekends and night dispatch leave so much to be desired and thier attitude could improve ten fold. Then again, everything else lives up to my expectations. . If everything worked out.. what would I complain about?! Lol.

So I'm getting ready to fly out to Lebanon tomorrow (yes, I said 'fly'! No 20hr Greyhound trip, yay!) from Dallas and was wondering just what I can expect while I'm there at orientation. From what I've been reading on the boards here, it looks like it's going to be a welcome change from CRST. What are their terminal facilities like? How soon after orientation do they get you in a truck? Will they have the loads to keep me moving? Enquiring minds want to know!

the terminal is pretty nice. big lounge, with mostly recliners, lots of vending machines, coffee, shower rooms with towels available, has a workout room, wifi. You will be in a truck your third day (you will get issued on tuesday, stay in it overnight and do a quick orientation on wed morning with the shop to get your sheet checked off) then you'll get your dispatch. When I went thru everyone was gone by the afternoon, i was the last one out, I checked in for my orientation last so last in, last out. right after that I got a load from lebanon to chicago.

Hope This Is Not A Dead Thread Now. Sorry About Caps. Thread Not Very Mobile Friendly Or My Phone Just Junk. But My Question Is Is Anyone Familiar With The Colorado Shuttle Run? I'm Supposed To Go To Orientation On The 8Th. I'm On A Dedicated Run With USX And Almost Have A Year In. I Just Want To Make Sure The Move Would Be Worth It. My Current Fm Is A Fool And I Want To Make More. How Good Is The Company Really? Thanks

Well I have no knowlage of the colorado run. I can tell you that im surprisingly happy here. Im quite a hard person to please.
Our equipment is nicely equipped, specd much better than my doggie cascadia at crete, love the built in fridge and 1800 watt power inverter, load suspension gauge and the jakes kick hard.
Ive had a few family and personal problems in my month here and so far, ive missed a week and they have been more helpful. Thats a big plus to me, as my wife is pregnate and I know they wont have a problem with me being home for a week or two next year for our babys birth.
I did run into a few problems.. mainly with my dm not wanting to get me home on my first weekend.. he told me he didnt have to get me home and so forth.. one call to his boss fixed it and got me home.. plus my dms attitude has actually gotten much better and he doesnt seem to mind working to get me home.
Im on a home every weekend fleet and I stay moving really decent. I used 55 hours this 5 day week. So I stayed busy all week. Not to say things could go to hell quickly but until then, im enioying the ride and the atmosphere.. I even spoke with breakdown and was dreading it.. but the breakdown rep was friendly and at one point... asked my opinion and what did ....I want to do!!!! Ive always dealt with over worked, tired and grumpy breakdown guys.
So I cant tell you about the Colorado run but can tell you our atmosphere is a bit nicer than most and our trucks are nice.. I heard our new kws are REALLY nice and o/o specd.. but I dont know for sure as I have a cascadia and was told if I wanted, could talk in a few months about a short lease purchase on a older t660 if still interested..
So ill think on the lease.. but we run paper logs still and can fuel where we want.. as long as its a fj, pilot or bosselman... but were moving to a new system soon where your fuel card will only work at your approved fuel stop.. we have ez/prepass. Insurance runs 91 a week for family+unlimited kids.. its okay insurance but copay and deductible s are a little high. You can actually lower the weekly price if youll stop smoking and take a yearly physical other than your dot one.
Thats about all I can say as im still in the honeymoon phase. I hope this helps ya.Last edited: Jun 30, 2013
