    Blind driver,you have never seen what is called a Mega truck?
    Fith wheel height is 38,58 inches(98cm).
    Now that is low.:biggrin_2559:

    Correct.
    And those trucks do go to Eastern Europe and Russia which has some real bad roads.
    But it does happen that they bottom out with damage.

    That's only 6" less then my 42" height. Every little bit makes a difference.

    Actually,it is the rating for the tires that decides it.
    Those low tractors (also called Low Deck) only became possible after a new sort off tyre came on the market.
    Low but with a high enough rating.
    Before you had low tires but they didn't have a high enough rating to be usefull.


    ps trailerfloor is only 40,55 inch off the ground.
