Wow, you're seriously disgruntled. My experience thus far has been far better than that been their for 3months and over all I am happy. Yes, I do hate going to the rail yards, but I don't go that often. I do a lot of Long Island and that is not bad, decent mileage and not as bad as going to any of the other boroughs.

If you're working out of Flanders, then you are one of MANY of the poor S.O.B.s that simply CANNOT dare make a move & you're stuck there. i met a number of guys like that my brief time with JB. My trainer was a decent, hard working guy who needed to work a second job just to make his bills, poor ####### maybe got 4-5 hrs of sleep daily. Theres a ton of work out there, it just wasn't there at Flanders DCS. I have far too many bills to maintain to be working for charity at JB! As for hard work, you don't a #### thing about my ethic pinhead. And yes, Swift is a "Starter/lowballer for pay" company i'll give you that HOWEVER, they are far more organized than JB, PERIOD & i actually made better money with Swift, they kept me running. i would find at least a half dozen drivers out of Flanders driving aimlessly around at New Brunswick terminal looking for empty trailers to pull back to PA, problem was that dispatch had thier heads up their ##### and didn't make sure that those empty trailers, where actually there! You are completely full of #### dude! Even my trainer admited to me, every other week somebody else quit due to the lack of miles. Mind you, if i was going back & forth everyday to MA, or even upstate NY, i would've stayed! Back & forth to NYC, Queens, the Bronx, Brklyn, how many miles is that plus traffic jerkoff? They should be paying per hour on that account, PERIOD!

:Forgot to mention the ABYSML state that the trailers where in, 25+ year old trailers that are rot buckets, good luck sliding those tandems for a D.O.T. inspection. i made myself perfectly clear to management - mess with my DAC & you get to deal with my rather hostile & effective attorney. Unlike the rest of the poor Saps working there, i,m in a position to do something about it. As for Swift, i would easily recommend them to anyone starting out, not to stay long-term, they don't pay alot however overall i had a good experience with Swift. Ran my nutz off for them, so much for ######-### assumption i don,t like working. I was working when you where a just late night quickie kid!

Load planers do tend to get tired of giving good runs to cry baby drivers who whine complain and yell over every run you don't want to do this goes for all companies .
ewill71 Thanks this. -
Like I said before a really disgruntled. I am having a much better experience at TRU then you. Yes, some of the guys complain, but it is that way everywhere you go. Also, like the other poster said, cry baby complainers don't get the good runs. Why are they going to give the good runs to a complainer rather than a hard worker, makes no sense. That is probably why you got no mileage. Searching for empties in E. Brunswick? I call BS on that. We have our own trailers and have never been nor heard of anyone being sent to look for empties like that.

i work out of the rail yard in elizabeth i love the night fleet manager dave! i usually make 200 in less than 10 hours i'm ok with rail yards except the one in kearny that one is huge but hey 10 dollars to get in.. my only complain is that they still have paper logs and half of the older trucks wouldnt pass dot inspection due to airleaks and cracked windshields. everywhere the have the whiners but if you do your job the right way and go home you will be a happy camper hard work and getting things done will help you get noticed
