I was just talking about getting a sunburn. Maybe off to St Louis later this week, catch a Blues games, eat some ribs. Maybe make some business connections. We'll see.

Thanks for the post. They have had ads in our local Newspaper for a few weeks now. Can you tell me if they hire recent graduates? My husband doesn't graduate with CDL A until mid-July. I've seen quite a few of their trucks on the highway lately. More-so than usual, but that may be because I'm noticing more. I was up in Livermore this weekend and saw a couple on route 4. Do they haul other stuff up to Maine besides water? Curious how long they will be hiring. Hope the hubby isn't missing out on opportunities since he has yet to graduate. He's getting his TWIC soon and also Hazmat and Tanker endorsements as well.

Water account contract is going to be reviewed in August or something like that. So either the rate will go up, or they'll lose the business. HML requires like 6 months of experience, but have been known to take on a student or two.

The rate will go down, and you'll keep the work isn't that how it goes. -
nope, were greedy ########.

So what happened to danielfrench? Been 2 months since his last post. Perhaps he wisely changed his name to protect himself? Whatever, I wish him the best.
danielfrench83 Thanks this. -
I have it on good authority he's still working there. Would be nice to see an update, good, bad, ugly, whatever.danielfrench83 Thanks this.

Sorry all, been busy as hell
I'm still here, still hauling water for Hirschbach. Things are plugging along decently. Business is picking up at a wicked pace, good for my wallet, he'll on my free time budget.
Regarding an earlier post, they seem to be pretty ironclad on the 6 month requirement presently. I had a buddy with 3 months exp who couldn't get in despite the hiring rush currently in effect.
Bedtime for now, my 34 is coming to a close and I'm hauling to Philly first thing tomorrow morning. Toss me some ?s or some chitchat, I will endeavor to check in at least every other day.
Safe driving!
DanielMeltom Thanks this.
