Things are looking up. Finally. All it took was a talk. Keeping my fingers crossed that it'll stay this way!

That is good to hear. I think a lot of us are guilty of being mad about things, but not taking time to find the right person to talk to too remedy things. I think most people. I did say most people, are reasonable and when approached in a nice way will listen and hopefully work with you.

Here is a perfect example of not communicating. One of our drivers was complaining that his fridge has not been working in his truck and he needs to bring a cooler. When I asked him if he mentioned it to the owner the answer was no. I know we have a great mechanic, but unfortunately his helper dropped his crystal ball so we are still required to tell him things until such crystal ball will be replaced with a new one.

Glad to hear things are looking better. Just have a Tastykake for me and you will feel better. :yes2557:

After talking with them, my week as follows:
Pontoon Beach, IL to Indianapolis, IN
Indianapolis, IN to Pontoon Beach, IL
Pontoon Beach, IL to Cheyenne, WY
    Cheyenne, WY to Greeley, CO
Greeley, CO to Carson, CA (on this one now)
    Carson, CA to Clackamas, OR.
This is more like it. Getting to RUN! Learned more about the benefits package, which is probably worth taking the job alone. Lets hope I keep busy and keep running good. I'm keeping my hopes high, and my fingers crossed (balls too, I usually need all the luck I can get) hopefully I can make some decent $$$$

Looks like you finally made it to the other coast. I just got back to WA out of CA today. I will be going up and down I-5 for the next couple of weeks. Sometimes it seems like every other truck is a GTI on I-5.

Man I love those roach coaches out there. Those alone are worth dealing with traffic out there.

I'm partial to the ones in NJ. Nothing like a pork roll egg and cheese on a kaiser roll. Mmmmmm
