Well, I love it that bars and restaurants are now smoke free as I could not go in restaurants or bars where people smoked as it gave me a migraine.

It also ruined the taste of the food.

I don't agree with the house and truck thing, though, UNLESS CHILDREN UNDER 10 ARE PRESENT. That is going way too far.

If I read this correctly, it applies if the vehicle CAN be shared by more than one occupant. I'd say rip out the top bunk and the passenger seat, and see what happens. I have actually been pulled over in NB while smoking, and the cop said it was the stupidest law he had ever heard of, and most officers were not bothering to enforce it unless a complaint was received.

You KNOW it's a dumb law when the cops themselves will not enforce it. How long before we're not allowed to put salt on our food, or watch violent TV shows, or do ANYTHING that bad for you...? Welcome to 1984, albeit 24 years late.

  4. Button down the hatches!

    Get R DONE!

Try this also, after you've had several smokes, why not place the finished product in you mouth and start chewing and tasting that lil BUGGER.
After you've spit it out faster then you put it in your mouth , take some LIME JUICE and squirt in your mouth.
Anything to get the reward of the FIX off of your BRAIN for starter's.

    I am ROOOOOOOOOOOOTING for U Both!:biggrin_25517:

Im not a smoker and as far as I'm concerned there is nothing good whatsoever about smoking. But I also think this law is going to far. That is just ridiculous to tell someone they can't smoke in a truck.

I smoke , but i think they should just ban cigaretes . I know alot of you are hating me , but for me if i couldn't get them , i wouldn't smoke them . i think the person has the choice to smoke , just as much at the passenger can roll thier window down with the driver , or is the cold offenisve aswell ?

So when the republican majority state declares the smoke free law, they are then a liberal democrat?

We have the same law here in The Peoples' Republic of Maryland, and there are very few Republicans, unfortunately.

well I happen to agree with one of the talk show host I listen to. YOU do not have the right to go into some ones restraunt or bar and not smell smoke. YOU do have the right to go some where else if u don't like it. The owner of said bar, restraunt , truck ect has the right to choose if they want to let ppl smoke. they pay the #### bills. if it hurts there pockets they would ban smoking themselves but if the majority of the customers are smokers then its the government hurting there pockets.
