Felony and RSO, is it possible to get hired in trucking?

ignore the above he never understands posts and makes stupid comments like that all the time..but as others have posted there will be companys that will hire you with a felony. you also have a small chance they wont even see it on your record. but dont ever not put it down even after the 10 yrs is up as if it does pop up the company will think your a liar and wont hire you. no they wont say it was due to that and there will be no way for you to legally say otherwise.
i have a felony on my record from back in 96 and i can say i dont have one but i know if it shows up they will not hire me due to me not saying so, i am not currently a cdl driver but trying to get back into it. when i went into trucking in 06 it did not show up on the record they pulled back than, but when i left that company and did a local job that pulled my record it popped up on theirs and didnt say i had one but the company didnt hire me do to that they said i lied on my app.

 

Most of these drivers aren't rocket scientist.
When you are ready to apply for a job just be honest about the past mistake. Someone will hire you.

Theres a big difference between 19 and 29. Almost not even the same person. If somehow the 2023 version of TruckerPete1990 met you, he would say the exact same thing to you that you are saying to this driver. Not trying to be a buster, amigo... Just pointing out what a decade out of the idiot stage does to all of us. At 19, he was at the peak of the idiot stage and worshipped his goobers. Rape, I agree with you. Statuatory, I think it's BS. He was still a kid himself. He wasn't like 25. Yeah, haul him to court and fine him, but I dont agree with the whole guy dating a girl, has a birthday and a lovers spat, wind up on the RSO registry....especially if her parents were tolerant.

Just want to point out some facts you may not be aware of.
In all recorded history of mans existence except for the last 100 years relationships of this type (age wise) were normal.
In most of the world it is still normal.
I don't feel it is normal because I have 2 daughters close to that age but I have a brain and realize the realities and indoctrination we have undergone.
To brand someone legally with such a stigmatized label for something that is quite normal in human history is BS.
Research it if you doubt what I am saying.
