Black Bear is good, they have one off of 99 in Modesto, Merced and Madera... You would have to google map each one to determine what exit you would want to take. I've seen trucks parked in the lot in Modesto," just one truck, FYI" in the mornings before Olive garden opens and takes all the parking. Merced is a tight squeeze and can't remember what Madera is like.

Gee Cees truckstop, exit 57 I-5 Wa has some good food. I stop there when I can

No problem TruckDuo. I'm glad ya enjoyed the Rolling Hills Casino. I always recommend that one because imho they have a truck stop and they seem to take care of commercial drivers. As well they are so close to the TA and Loves and I know the chain places get old after awhile. I agree it's nice to hear about places that are a change from the usual.

I like the bacon wrapped pork from the hot deli.
