Hey, I'm up in Mass sitting until Monday, I have to get the apu air cond fixed and these guys up here are the ones I trust to get it right....
If it doesn't cost too much I'm thinking about splurging for the Duralite CAC..... I'm still going back and forth on that though, $1700 bucks for the part is kinda up there...lol...

I got an apu but it's so gosh dang loud it's like sleeping next to a running lawnmower so I still idle anyhow much quieter

Maybe a battery powered heat/air would be better.
Rolling Wave Thanks this. -
That's what causes the most problems with the dpf filters, no matter what anybody says. They need to run hot to burn themselves clean. Excessive idling clogs them up faster.....all these new EGR motors have double, maybe triple the soot factor than the older motors due to them running at higher temps.

I started with Crete Carrier in 1994. They would sell you a brand new Freightliner conventional with 70 inch condo sleeper and 12.7 Detroit w/ jake /10 speed w/ warranties for $73k. Or an International condo cabover w/cummins and an eagle interior for $69, 995. I bought a new pete 379 (1998) from them for $84900.
I bought a new 2003 pete for $ 105k. It was loaded. Now they want 150k-160k for the same truck. -
