    Hi Guys, I'm a Newbe and was wanting to ask a question, I want to get my cdl for trucking but I have alittle blood in my urine (microscopic), I have had it most of my life, my question is, are truck companies real strict on that where i wouldnt be hired, everything else is fine and I am in decent shape. just wondering if it would be worth my time to get my CDL.

    Personally, I think I would be finding out why I have blood in my urine.

    Sitting in a truck seat banging my kidneys isn't going to help this situation.

    Blood in the urine is not something that should be passed over. There has to be a reason.

    I agree with cyber I would be more concerned about why there was blood in my urine .Sounds like you got a leak. Sorry . You could just go get a d.o.t physical done. Your gonna have to. Every company makes you get one . So before you go spend all that money for your CDL and school make sure your healthy enough to get one.

    the whiz Quiz is looking for 5 things, and thats all. If someone should notice it, they might be concerned, but the lab is testing hundreds maybe thousands of samples a day- must be a job you don't talk about at formal gatherings. And like the posts above this, i wonder if that is a problem that indicates inpending doom.....

    That is not a good sign and I would be seeking medical attention right away....it sounds like you have a problem that needs to be addressed like yesterday...I sure hope all turns out good for you, but don't overlook your condition right now! :biggrin_25519:

    The drug test will not show you have blood in your urine......
    Follow the other posters advise and have it checked out...

    I have, it's a small ulcer on my bladder, been checked out on it and was told they would just monitor it on check ups, it isnt alot just very little amount. they check to make sure it wasnt a tumor or anything like that. I cant believe im the only one that wants to drive with this problem or any one driving now.
