Melton schneider boyd rohel armellini...

Out of that list, Melton would be the best. Not all that great of a company, but a lot better than the others you listed
-
This company sounds bad

it's worse than is sounds, believe me.
You would have more fun French Kissing a belt sander, than you will driving for England -
That's true. CDLs are national licenses. It's the same test no matter what state you're in. That said, I'm actually pretty surprised to hear people saying to avoid CR England. Thus far, I've heard greater feedback about CR England than I have about SWIFT.
I'll be starting school with CR England on the 24th for my CDL. As far as lease, just sign up to be a team driver. Team Driving positions with CR England aren't lease positions. Several friends are pulling $1,100-1,400 per week as team drivers for CRE. I actually heard about CRE through them. All you need to do is survive a single year, and you have it all made. From all feedback, I've been told to avoid Maverick instead of CRE, working logistics in my current job (leaving it soon) Maverick Drivers typically seem the most jacked up.zdutch1 Thanks this. -
Do the math ... CRE pays .14 to team drivers for all miles for month 3-5 and .15 for 6 months to a year. $1100 would require the truck to run over 7000 miles a week at .15. Team trucks average about 5300 miles a week at CRE ... now there is a monthly bonus that is paid out once a month that could bump you for one week. Also you may have a long week from time to time that will bump your miles and give you a fat check ... sounds like your friends are blowing smoke up your skirt.

To be fair the entire time i teamed at cre we never made under 6k miles a week, and made 7k plenty. The miles depend on your DM, and the season.
The problem is, you can make a grand a week without teaming, and without the stigma of working for the Morman Mafia. So why on earth would one choose to remain at England after having the experience to go somewhere better.

If you hit rock bottom and England is the only outfit that will train/hire you get your hard copy CDL then move on as quickly as possible!
