WOW! Schneider just announced on facebook that there is going a new pay increase just went into effect on 06/16/13 and that "most new Drivers will earn an additional .02-.03 per mile.

There must be 30+ empty trucks here in Keasby. I guess they are figuring out that they need to pay better to attract and retain Tanker Drivers. The more they pay the higher they have to bid the rates. Its a good thing.

Haven't heard back from the DFA. Looks like if I want to haul tankers, I'm going to have to move
Looks like Houston may be my best bet. But Louisiana and North Carolina might be interesting. Everyone around here requires 2 years experience, except for Quality Carrier and Indian River and I have heard nothing but bad things about either of them and they ALWAYS have an ad out. I actually walked into QC to at least talk with them and they were really nice but looked at me like I had 2 heads when I told them the ad said they would train. So

Dag, has it gotten that bad. I knew I haven't seen many pumpkin tankers in the last 6 months. But when you only see 1 driving from Northern NJ to Delaware then you know it's bad. Is Dan and Debbie still there in dispatch?
