If anything I think trucking company greed is the first thing which needs to be cracked down on. It's the biggest safety problem

screw the fine. If I can save a few hundred bucks, by god ill get a lawyer. That one bad mark on yer record can ruin your career, especially something that bad. The guys that call for taking the blow...screw them. I know what its like. My record isn't perfect. Heck, not even swift woulda touched me when I was 21. Had to wait till I was 22 to start driving. Does paying a hefty fines teach a lesson? No. You don't learn anything fro. That. You are who you are. Sure, ya could learn a lesson, but if yer an outlaw, yer an outlaw. I've paid 1500 in tickets in my life I'm sure, and I'm still playing Jesse James.

With that said, go for TVC. I got em and a few others I know have them, and they work almost all the time. If they can't get it totally dismissed, they can usually get it lowered to something minor like a bad tail light

Hope I don't get bannerd, or Techumicad for this. A ticket is like another chapter in the Bible. No way to win. The Holy CHP can do no wrong. My truck stops at the border. It's 14 years old now In cat years. It smokes on start up. Just a grey puff. That's too much. Oh Well. :biggrin_25523: My chain runs out before the border.

No points, not on mvr. Tvc woulda cost me 2200. That with they fee , court cost, court cost ( bail), and there fee. www.interstatetrucker.com on advice from another member of this site worked great for me, although my speed was nowhere near that of the OP

They love that hill. I seen a few cop sitting and waiting. If not too late

Yes. lawyer will at least let you keep rolling making money. This going to cost.

With out lawyer representing you got to be in court each time they want you to.

There a deposit on that speeding ticket,That has to be paid in so many days. Of not paying that ticket an going to court.

They send a letter to address on license. Stating this. If not it comes with a (i think) $700.00
    fine.

I know got a letter around somewhere saying that. Back when I got a ticket for 57mph, going down hill.

But ticket said 65mph. I asked to see the rador.Than he asked for my log book

Anyway,I lawyer up. He said that he paced me. kept moving court date hope cop would'nt show. Than move for dismissal.

But kept right on showing up.Lawyer kept asking cop for details, In up putting dout in his statement.

I wrote a statement details of what happen(Had a co driver up at time/witnes) saying That i was doing 57mph and would pay for that but not 65mph.

Judge said you had to be doing somethang. He pulled you over. Set it at 60 in 55. pay on your wayout. It never show up on DMV or DAC.

west I80 Blue cannon,ca. Right after, Where all truck must stop to check brakes mandatory

    Roll on.Safely
