Felonies are for the most part major and harmful crimes meaning harmful to society which makes you a danger and a risk to companies which is why they wont hire you because they aren't going to pay out more to insure you it also shows that if you willing/knowingly committed a felony then what says you won't break the rules of the road therefore I 100% agree with the felony rule most companies have if you got a drug related felony then you will probly never drive again for a decent legal company remember you put yourself in the situation to get the felony no one else
And for the record with your current attitude you won't make anyone feel as if you are changed and won't let it happen again the attitude you have now shows me and I'm sure others here that you are likely to take a chance agian if the opportunity arose -
Same post twice really? Think you gonna get better responses on this one it's your fault you got a felony no1 else's you have to pay the consequences of your actions you knew that getting a felony in this industry is highly frowned upon like

I can understand some felons who actually turn themselves around but don't think it is a mistake they did or something they didn't know they were doing is an excuse, this is what punishment is all about.
But as I read the harshness in these posts, the one thing that popped up is the idea that someone who haul drugs in a truck can even consider retuning to driving. It doesn't matter what the DOT does in overlooking these companies, it is the fault of the driver who allows it to happen and doesn't care to say no. When they get caught, then everyone says it is the fault of the DOT or the states but it isn't either of them who is at fault, it is the driver and only the driver.
I hope the OP does get a good break and doesn't screw up in the future. -
Here are some companies that hire felons :
Carolina Cargo
Paschall Truck Lines
Buel Inc.
Martin Enterprises of the Carolinas
Do an online application & follow up with a phone call in a couple of days. These companies do hire felons & some right out of long prison stretches. -
Those fly by night companies do get caught often; unfortunately, it's after their drivers caused a fatality. Then the driver and company owners go to prison.

Aggrivated Battery, i spilled a hot cup of coffee on someone. I did NOT physically beat up the other person, I was under the influence of alcohol, he bumped into me (intentional or not, i took offense to it), he did apologize for it. Also, my anger toward being disrespected played a part in it too.

Like china said try some smaller companies, the larger companies are strict when it comes to convictions especially when it deals with physical harm rather you meant to or not.
-
Anger issues?
That might play a part in not being hired very quickly.
Especially if you have a hard time being disrespected by total strangers, whether it was earned or not. -
This story is going to scare the crap out of whoever is interviewing you.Ghost Ryder Thanks this.
