well we did leave out the really good parts of the week hehehehe......yeah guess i'm going to have to make good on that promise of something moose related once I get back up there lol

as I try to make most things a teachable moment I guess the lesson there is don't let the wife know this site exists lol

yeah I am seeing a pattern there seems the closer you live to the yard the harder it is to get there at the end of the week. you'd think since we both live right there we'd be in on Friday like the golden children are......still at least knowing i'll be in every week counts for something......

yeah they're running me but the consistency could be better......week before last I was sitting right at 1000 on Thursday just like you were but then ended up getting in sunday with 3000.......they ran the hell out of me Thursday-sunday after short ones and sitting first of the week. this week was a little more consistent.

on a more positive note lol.........anyone look at the classifieds in the N&R this morning for those of you in Greensboro?

I think they may be getting ready for the merge....guess we'll just see what happens in the coming months!

 

yeah was just reading a question from another guy looking at TSE asking about the operating area and that they were part of us now......told him say hello to the northeast lol

seeing more and more of their guys around up there and i'm sure we'll be out their way more too.....

Good start to the week 890 mile trip for Monday 0730. Hoping to get the Plainfield ct load out of this corner (1600ish) , and 700 back towards the house. Shame we can not dispatch our selves. Wonder if they let me get the dispatch job ( flying was talking about) and work from home ( ie the truck ) ? Evil grin ! Been a long time since I was on salary + miles ! Been since my air freight days. 900 a week then .43 cpm , some days I miss it. Then remember the heck I was expected to cover...just word it as a good week here was a good week end there !

 

yeah I've had 2 good weeks in a row now......not sure how this one will be since dm is going to be off....those usually end up being weeks that try my patience

yeah that would be a pretty good deal wouldn't it? have access to the planning screen and pick your loads from the truck? there'd be no shortage of #### runs to chose from nobody wanted wouldn't there? lol but wouldn't be any waiting for preplans or load assignments either i'm sure we could knock down some #### good weeks if we could get something like that going lol at least we could work the loads that worked with and around our clock instead of wondering what planning was thinking and if they actually even look at our time remaining lol

we can always dream of a perfect world I guess lol

 

pretty quiet this week! Gotta 2 stopper in up CT and NJ, Ikea run....$150 layover pay ain't too shabby! #### if I forgot my xbox 360 controller for some games on my laptop.....oh well....movie day it is, then!

 

did you notice....she has one on me too....remember her "throwing things" at me in front of you AND your student that one time? lol Spousal abuse is on now! lol
