No, not trying to do that & I don't hang out on board, these replies come straight to my e-mail. I'm just giving you real talk, the good & the bad. Every person got a different story with any truck driving company. Hey as bad as everybody talk about Swift, I know a few guys who like it, who run dedicated for them out of Atlanta. I see you from Raleigh, though not too far from me. I give a newbie any advice if need.

Seriously did you see this.......
I don't think you did, but there no harm. I like transam pete, we just disagree on a few things as you can tell. -
You're subscribed to this Transam thread if it comes to your email. Didn't mean you literally hang out on the thread, but I have seen your posts here about Transam. Thus my question, since you don't work for Transam. From what I've seen, you do seem to have a fairly negative outlook on the company. Don't remember seeing any positive posts from you about them.
At any rate...if advice I needing, ask I still will.
I know how to put salt on before consuming.

i don't see Pete's posts putting down any individuals post, just speaking the truth.
-
Oh, I didn't know you can speak the truth about anybody you don't know. I see where this is going so.......ok.

I have another suggestion for the new drivers ....and some of you may find it silly.
Consider getting a Facebook page if you don't already have one. You don't have to participate in any social networking or take part in the silly status updates. You can use it as your own personalized news feed. There are many Facebook pages that have to do with trucking and can provide you with valuable information. For instance another driver just posted that Oklahoma Highway Patrol is really working over I44 east of Tulsa. Most companies and truck stops have a Facebook page. If you have a problem at a truck stop that isn't handled to your satisfaction you can contact the company directly on their Facebook page and they will get in touch with you.....I have done that and got several free showers, drinks and meals for husband while he was on the road. Most local news stations have a Facebook page so you can even catch up on the news at home. CDL Life, Truckers Code, Missing Truckers Network are all good pages with lots of good information. Cooking On the Truck has many recipes and ideas for meals while you are on the road. Once you "Like" those pages they will become a part of your daily news feed.
passport220 and bwaync Thank this. -
I was talking about THIS thread, as I said. And thanks for making my point for me...you do not work for Transam, and you have had nothing good to say about them on THIS thread. I didn't say you can't or shouldn't post here (sharp.dressed.man, please note), I asked a specific question which still begs an answer...if you care to.
