    The company I work for went out of business I drove for them for 9 years OTR so I took a few months off and started driving local for the last four month and found out that they cannot be verified for employment I am looking for something regional out of illinois so now it looks like I have only been driving for the four months all that exp and now cant be verified what can I do all good company's want at least a year crap I think I have that much sittin in a dock

    Hi, I'm just curious, why cant they be verified? I'm sure a pay stub, tax return, maybe some other way to verify the employment. I worked for places that went out of business, but they can always be verified somehow.

    Thats kind of what I thought they even talked to the old owner of the company and they said they had got his D O T numbers you would have thought they could have got it from that

    Oh well, good luck then, if the old owner of the company cant verify it by supplying his DOT number and talking with them, it doesnt sound good for you. But keep looking and plugging away, these situations usually end up well. Put out as many applications as you can and go from there. Good Luck
