to qualify for a reset you first must have the following( check me to be sure)
1- must be 168 hr from your last 70hr set( 34)
2= two periods of consecutive hrs beteewn 1am and 5am in that 168 hrs from the last 70 reset. In off duty or sleeper breth.
3- remain in off duty / sleeper(which dot said you cant stay in the sleeper for 24 hrs) for consecutive 34 hrs.
Is the only wat to get 70 reset. after this reset you cant reset until 168 hr from now.
But really you would have recap some hour by them.
Why is there white out on by OBR e-logs screen. I say whats wrong with split.sleeper breth anyway.
COOKIES ANYONE! HO! THOSE ANIT COOKIES. -
The start of your current reset must be at least 168 hours from the start of the last one. You cannot reset before then.
During your reset you must have two periods between 1AM and 5AM, as measured by the time zone of your terminal.
Remember, that's measured between the starting point of each reset.
big wheels Thanks this. -
You have another full blown reset that would qualify including two 0100-0500 time periods that you would feel the need to ask such a question...... time to look for another job that doesn't have you sitting around so much. Or go home.

I'm viewing the reset as kind of a two week thing .. let's say this example:
Week 1, start Monday. Burn your 70 out by friday and be good to go again sunday. Start again sunday, burn most of your 70 and get home say thursday. Now I won't be eligible to drive again until Monday. Sound about right? -
yeah. I think I get what ure saying... Use it once OTR and then take ure hometime and go back out And do it all over again... Isn't too bad of an idea

One of the reasons that they changed the 34 hour reset is to try and get the driver more off time on the break.RickG said: ↑No . You can stop 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday every week .Click to expand...
I wonder if the idiots who came up with this idea, have realized that companies will not be letting drivers have more time, probably will be limiting the time to 34 hour and less. This will lead to drivers returning to the recap portion of the logs which will reduce the off time and lead to drivers having to run without being at home.
It truly makes no sense.
