I had my experience with werner and then switch to Jb hunt northeast local i wouldn't say people don't like driving in the NE i think it's about financial some guys need to make 800 a week after taxes in order to take care their bills and everything they need to do and if they can't get that with Jb i promiss you they will just walk away and jb will always have local job open,, they pay good but some drivers just need to make more than that i don't blame them im still with them and my next move will be Old dominion freight line if things start going the wrong way lol..

depends on the position you are applying for but yeah looks like 4 months is their minimum from the openings I've seen on their site. and everyones situation is different, especially living out there in the north east. I'm originally from NY, my first apartment was over 1k a month, add in your other bills and stuff adds up, and if you have a family just imagine. 'they dont pay that good' is very situational (I know it was a question not a statement). more home time = less work which in turn usually means less money. but some people value their home time more than others so you can have 2 people at the same company, doing 2 different types of fleets and both be happy making 2 totally different pay checks.
