SCAMMERS. Dishonest group of people manning the phones. Quoted a price, signed the contract. Pick up date came, no truck or call. Tried calling they wouldn't take my call. Finally two days after pick up date they call me with a price 30% higher and I had no choice but to take it.

Do explain what you are talking about. Because if you are saying they gave you a quote to move freight and on pickup day they was a no show and you couldnt get in touch with them and they called two days later with a higher quote explain why you didnt have no choice. You had two days after to find another shipper

Yep, agree with you. It appears truck broke contract, so move on to the next hauler. Wonder if this was real-real cheap Fla. freight?

Long story but since y'all are interested. I bought a motorcycle a few months ago and previous owner shipped to me, everything went great. So a few weeks ago i get orders for quantico, decided to ship my car, drive the truck with bike/trailer from San Diego, military supplies movers for the rest. Called the guy I bought bike from he gave me premier's number. Called, you know, the usual everything seemed great told them I was impressed with the last driver etc. asked multiple questions and this guy leads me to believe they were actually the ones shipping it. Didn't explain they were just a broker. "Ill have one of my guys take real good care if you" etc. Anyway, as you can imagine my schedule was calculated with no room for error. I had to wait for hot shot to pick up the car and race cross country to meet the movers who had already left with my entire house. That's about it. Just seemed like they waited until the last minute knowing I was military on a tight schedule then stuck it to me. Original quote with contract aprox 1350 ended up paying nearly 2000

As for why I didn't find another company, I tried after they didn't show. As you may know trying to ship a car coast to coast with same day or next day pick up is insane, everyone just about laughed at me.

I think we all have freddie Cruger stories on truck companys . They all have bad and good ,some more bad and some more good . What are you willing to put up with is the key answer.
