TransAm Trucking, Inc. - Olathe, Ks.?

I know Transam usually do meat loads and stuff like that, do you deliver the load at big distribution centers or the actual stores? Also they make you do NYC a lot?

 

Lol this is a forum. I can comment on any thread I want, including this one. Don't matter if I still work there or not, free country baby even though I respect this forum & I still have friends that work there so, every now and then I here about TA good & bad.

all our meat loads go to distribution centers
some might be large like a walmart dc
or small like a dominoes dc
or specialized like Colorado boxed beef
pork to sausage companies
we haul a lot of oj for coke
and a lot of beer
pork skins to frito lay


best lightest load is a truckload of pillows
heaviest is giant rolls of paper 22 rolls 45000 lbs
raw paper going to envelope factories

 

I guess some folks are sensitive. ..... I tap out

 

I know that's right about the heavy paper loads. I just swapped a load of paper last night that I picked up in Spring Grove, Pa. Didn't get very good fuel mileage pulling it through the hills of Pa.

 

is the bridge thru spring grove open again?
every way around that bridge is a pain
