1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Last week, I had a roll-over in a personal vehicle, no citation issued. Schneider just fired me. I am the sole income in my family.

Will anyone hire me after this?

Depends on the circumstances. Would need more info before rendering an answer.

I-70 in utah, just past Salina. Roads were getting bad, I started to slow down, obviously didn't slow down enough. I entered a curve, lost control of the car, hit the median, and rolled it once. No injuries, no other vehicles involved. No citation.

Schneider says I was going too fast for conditions (well, duh, or else I wouldn't have lost control) as the reason for being fired.

Other than that I have a years worth of driving experience, with no accidents in the truck.

if there was no citation issued how did they find out? you are only obligated to inform them of tickets or accidents that affect your drivers license.

It doesn't look good. The companies will think "Well if he can roll over a four wheeler, then he can roll over a commercial vehicle."

Yeah, there are some pieces missing to this story. Were you under the influence of ANYTHING? Just like everyone has asked if no citation was issued, how did Schneider find out about the accident? It makes me believe that somehow it was reported to them, most likely by legal authorities. Nobody is making accusations here. In order to get the most accurate advice, we need more information.

A polce report can be filed without a citation being issued. But I dont know if that goes on your license or not. I would think having CDL would be stricter on accidents, if in commercial vehicle or not.
