i went to this school last year specifically for " local Job Placement " complete ########. I graduated with my class a, clean record...and got no help from them.. after 6 months of looking after I got out I kept getting the no experience reason from employers which swtdt was suppose to help with. Finally ending up getting a job outside of the trucking industry and wasted 4 grand. Im not the only one from my class that ran into that either, So honestly goodluck once outta that school
What is going on? No experience, clean record, but no hires

i would think the problem is your age.
you probably don't have enough DMV history built up.
people who are 23 are far more likely to say "no miles huh? come pick up your truck it will be in the swamp!"
LOL
trucking is really for people my age where life has run them over 50 times and they really need a job.
keep pluggin awaySexybuilt Thanks this. -
yeah its good for 5 years I believe, had it for 9 months now for no reason. yeah we will get u a job no problem, we do it all the time. told me over and over they could get me a job. never said its a list ( sometimes small ) that u have to apply to...that's not ( job placement ). All the places I applied at that I got an interview from told me no expierence...wtf! what a joke...that's what I went to school for was help with that...
those schools should get in trouble for lying to people over and over again but they don't
u should be able to find an otr I would thinkChinatown Thanks this. -

Psst you didn't go through them and get soaked for 5000.00 dollars for a CDL so they can bone you for 3 to 6 months of additional training ect lol, It's rough brother after 12 yrs I still hear the rediculous stuff when applying. Try DM Bowman nice company and they might hook you up. Equipment is nice and they might work with you hit some mom and pop companies they are usually more lien than mean about new drivers and can do more for you. Try some class B driving jobs tri axle ect its CDL work and some companies will recognize commercial exp as what it is and so on. You have to sell yourself as a person to get in but were ever you get in stick it out for about 6 month to a yr you are golden to go any place. There is a place in Kentucky that will take you JTL or some crap pay is low but they will put you with a driver trainer and after a few weeks send you in your own rig GOOD LUCK it's a rough one starting out ...

The schools around here(WI)want to pad their graduate/hired numbers and that is it. They wouldn't finance me, or even let me buy my way in unless I had letters of intent from jobs I found, so they could take credit for finding me a job.
Their only concern is their grant money, which corresponds to my employment. I think I'll work "ma and pa" and go to school out of state. The bottom line is the sole purpose of the schools should be to inspire smarter, safer, more patient drivers. (patience for dealing with vehicles with four wheels
) Not graduates statistics. I wouldn't trust any driving school to find me a job. If that is their motto, then yes, the BBB should be called. You'll find your way, be patient. And be safe WHEN you are solo. The more I observe four wheeler's since I've started this journey, the more I realize, they really have NO idea how unsafe they are around #80,000! Keep us posted 23YearoldTrucker
