    Congrats.
Keep it in your lane, and don't back into me at a truck stop.

All kidding aside, welcome to trucking.

Guess I missed some of your post since I dont remember your name, good luck out there!

I am always free to answer questions too, I get a private message almost every single day from someone asking a question that was too scared or embarrassed to post. I say its always better to ask than do something stupid, yeah there are a few bassholes here who will attack but a few of us like to help. Keep safe and dont back into me either! ;)

Just follow the laws and regulations you learn getting your CDL. Read up on the FMCSA Rules and abide by them. Don't let anyone tell you to do different. If a trainer or dispatcher tell you different, tell them NO.

Been driving 30+ years and I abide by this. One speeding ticket in Ohio about 20 years ago for doing 61 in a 55 mph zone in Ohio. Was running 59 and my speed drifted up on a little down grade. My fault, not the cops. If I had been doing 55 and my speed drifted up 2 mph I wouldn't have gotten the ticket. You can make a good living and abide by all the regs. Make sure you take your breaks and get plenty of rest. Will make you safer and less stressed out all the time.

You will do fine out there with your new career.
