When you go get your CDL through CRS, do teach you anything about getting your endorsements?

 

No endorsements just the class A cdl and air breaks.

 

How long are you with a trainer over the road before you get your own truck?

 

Atleast 28 days AND 200 hours driving time. Some people get right back at 28 days, myself, Ill be back next monday at 33 days and well over 200 hours.

 

Today was my first day out with my trainer. So far go good put in 413 in almost 8 hrs. It's only day one but I'm truly happy with my choice. I left my job to do this and I'm truly happy best move I've made in yrs.

 

Does anyone use a CPAP machine? Especially if you are in training with a trainer. Thanks

 

why do you think central hires soo many drivers? i heard the turnover rate is just out of this world.. why do you suppose that is? i'm starting the school tom. thanks

 

its like that in any big company. they hire anyone and people dont realize how much of a life changer it is and up and go. actually centrals is pretty low. around 105 % i think. where as cr englands is over 300%

 

These numbers have always bothered me. It's negative retention so who's driving the 2,000+ trucks out here?! I know I'm not the only one making money and I run into a lot of people who have been around longer than a year... Just weird statistics. Yes, I understand what it means it's just hard for me to accept.
