I have been pretty fortunate so far, have yet to fall. Have had a couple of close calls and was able to jump down.

Not sure I'm cut out but the feeling you get from the unknown you'll be loading is what I love. One thing I know for sure is I'm gonna be able to see what I'm hauling.

My favorite part is when cars pass you and the passenger or child is staring at your truck because what you're hauling is so awesome!

Until they want to sit beside you and take pictures and pin you down when you are coming up on some slow poke.

I real enjoy running flatbed/stepdeck. There is something very satisfying about securing a load and it all being there in the same place, exactly as it should be, when you get to your destination.

Get a ladder just like 379 said. I did and its the best thing I've ever put on the truck. I have a bad habit of being in a hurry and constantly jumping off the side of the trailer when I'm securing loads. Now that I have that ladder I do it a lot less.

    AZS and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

Try seeing how many looks you get with windmill blades, 14' wide combines, etc. It's dangerous half the time as the idiots will sit along side you and try to drive and video at the same time....
