They are a good buy. If I didn't get to drive one for free, I think I would definitely consider buying one of their trucks.
Stilgar Thanks this. -
They seem to take really good care of their equipment. I know they have a rule that anytime one of their trucks gets into any of the terminals they have to go through an inspection. While it's no level 1 they do have the pit to get under the truck to inspect brakes and such. Usually takes only 15 minutes or so to get one done but they are the only company that I've been with that does this.

Have a friend that bought one from them maybe 2 yrs ago he hasn't had any major issues at all think the truck has something like 700000 on it now no smoke funny/odd noises he tried to get me to go buy one from them but I couldn't get financed (turn in a pick up after having it 2 yrs because I couldn't afford it anymore and they call it a repo thanks Bank of America sorry for my little rant that just bugs me)

and why would you think it isn't a repo?

We just looked at buying a used 2009 T660 ex Melton from MHC. They had the thing brought down from Tulsa to South Atlanta. I guess they never did anything to it. The shop and sales never work together. You would think they would pour whatever needs to be done to make it look and operate correctly. Was not impressed and needless to say we decided to walk away from that deal. Of course we're having them bring in another truck which should be here tomorrow. Maybe that one will be a winner.

I talked to melton driver about 4 years ago. he said policy is oil change & grease every 30,000 miles on all trucks, then like most fleets, sell them at 700,800,000 just before all those long drain intervals start to show. he said more important was the appearance of a well kept truck & is why they want them looking nice & clean.
