California - tickets

Exactly where did this take place, roadside, scale house. Call the CHP Office for that area and file a formal complaint, It counts against them much the way a ticket counts against us.

I have received far too many tickets issued by CHP, even the one I did not think I deserved the officers were polite, maybe not overly friendly but polite.

Same at the inspections. They seem to respond to how you treat them. At least as far as my dealings have been.

 

You created your own trouble in California. First you do not move a oversize load without the proper permits, if you do dont blame CHP when you drive this illegal load into there scale.

This is on you the driver, maybe the company you work for. As far as the tickets they were realeased to whom ever showed up with the correct permits when they took the trailer.
hat company sounds like a real winner, as well.

 

Well, I read the whole CMX post and my advice is, I don't think you better EVER AGAIN set foot in Calif. If you get stopped or called into a scale house, you'll probably get a free ride to the jailhouse. I don't think they can suspend your license, being as your Canadian, but you could have problems crossing into the US if calif puts you in the computer as a misdemeanor

 

Ok.
But think this way:
you are gone with tractor.
Later that night the trailer is gone.
She calls CMX asking where it is.
What is stopping your "nice" former boss from telling her:"i guess that dunbass driver must have taken it.I have had nothing but trouble with that driver"

My advice is to get a US attorney to check into your position in Cal.
Tell him the whole story.
I think if you leave it as it,there's a lot off trouble witing for you in Cal.

 

If tickets were issued to u, then u will get something in mail about courtdate/amount owed. But checking up on it is best bet

First thing is NEVER EVER sign ANYTHING that you don't know what you are signing,i would have told her either i get my glasses or i don't sign,you wanna take me to jail for not signing with out my glasses ,Lets Go.
