I upgraded to Motorola DROID RAZR M a few months ago, and somehow two cracks appeared on the glass, top and bottom. If I don't remember dropping my phone, it was probably not a big drop/bump. I like Droids and Verizon, but I am considering switching to another brand phone. I've had a great experience with Samsung for years before getting a smartphone, but I am open to ideas. I don't need bulletproof or the absolute latest, but something that will hold up with a decent case. Does Peterbilt make a phone?

    The best phone for truckers?
One that doesn't ring while you are sleeping, unless your truck is on fire, or there is a naked supermodel standing outside of your truck, too shy to knock, but still looking for a warm bed to crawl into, and appreciative.

    (NO, not a lot lizard.....)

I now use the GALAXY NOTE from Verizon. It completely replaced my laptop with its capabilities and functions, has a killer camera (forget how many Megapixel) and you can go up to 64 gb. I bought the extra carrying (plastic) case that clips on your belt so it actually has two covers, the hard rubber one and the outer plastic case. Dropped it dozens of times, no damage at all. Screen protectors I replace every three months or so. It's a bit big for a phone but my eyes love it.

Dude, go with an iphone. If mine was a little softer to hold I would be in heaven.

If you like the way that your Droid works under Android, an iPhone will have you pulling your hair out in no time.

Also, any apps you purchased will not transfer to an iPhone, but should with any Android device.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket (kind of like an S 2.5), and love it. When it's time to upgrade, I will likely pick up the current model of the Galaxy Note.

Stay away from the Nokia Lumina windows phone, this phone is constantly powering off and you have to remove the battery to get it back on. Verizon has refused to give me a different model of phone and they claim they have no knowledge of this happening. If they'd read their own website they'd see numerous complaints.

    Verizon's service is good.
    Verizon's customer service SUCKS.
