It just sounds to me like a typical bozo dispatcher telling him to break the HOS and pickup a load. This happens all the time. He should have just drove until he was out of time, shut the truck off and then asked the bozo to advise. What could the bozo say once he was completely out of time?
Where did you load at today???

Ok lets argue semantics ..he was more or less out of time 15 mins 65 mi ...he told bozo as you want to call said dispacher he couldn't make it and when he did what he was legally aloud bozo went off on him..weather it happens all the time or not he/all of us deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and when that wasnt given he chose to say find another mule that will take your crap I wont ..and you as a fellow driver are belittling him for that your no better then bozo...have some respect for the situation the driver made the right call you should be in his corner not bozos

Personally, I would have said screw the 14 and just picked up the load rather than spend the rest of the weekend sitting empty. Sound like thats what happened to this guy.TAK12LLC Thanks this.

Wow really maybe there was a scale or maybe some jackwacker would of hit him and there he would be out of a job and possibly worse good advice again your still degrading a guy for doing the right thing ...I probably would have done it myself unless the risk wasnt worth it but thats besides the point its not the right ..legal thing to do so why bash on him again good professional choice driver ..

Seen some Kansas Transit trucks headed east on 70 today in Kansas. At least I'm pretty sure. I remember seeing the white T2000's all over the place thinking "geez, I sure do cross paths with that guy a lot" until I started reading on this forum. Stepdecks hauling vehicles catch my eye.

LOL Dorsey, we only have one T2000 left all of the other trucks are the new Green Metalic Cascadia single axle midroofs, unless of course you pass my Pete, in that case introduce yourself, I'll buy!
Had a short trip yesterday, one of my drivers got back to Salina out of hours with some units to drop in Colby, so I ran them out, got back about 7pm last night, felt good to get behind the wheel again.
