yep, made in early 90-s after USSR collaps. This is one of first 4x2 models with very small sleeper.

Interesting thing - frame is very tought to use with dump body w/o subframe. In 90-s there were no different frames for different application like now. But trucktor is about 1000 kg heavier thn columbia with daycab.

 

An American spec Columbia is a light truck compared to the Columbia we get here in South Africa.
I only saw a couple of Kraz trucks here in the early 90's. They had cranes mounted on them and I think one even had an excavator/digger mounted on the frame.

 

Yep, there were trucks looking like monster trucks from hell. Some were fitted with extra wide axels but they were made not for public roads, wider 103". I gonna look for old rigs operating on coal fields to do some pics
