Most Drivers Love Volvo But I never owned one or bought one & never will. They look too cheap and I don't like going down the road with plastic panels Flopping in the wind.and GOD Help you if you Broke Down some where I hear their Dealers are as Clueless wonders as these Mechanics @ navistar I saw them once in their shop trying to stick a rear end in one of their own trucks Backwards.

reefer75 and Trucker Jo Thank this. -
F-150 is pretty good.
dannythetrucker and tomkatrose Thank this. -
That is a question that can't be answered by anyone but yourself. What works for me and the next three drivers may not work for you.
I like a Pete 379 or a W900 KW, maybe an older Western star. I have actually had one of each, and liked all 3 for different reasons. Any of the three are the most comfortable to me, I don't like the Volvos huge windshield, or the fact it is a long distance phone call to get to the passenger seat. My Pete is the best looking truck on the road for 2 reasons, 1 it is paid for, and 2 it's mine. I can work on mine, and do everything that needs to be done. I don't like Freight shakers because they are built cheap and seem to fall apart after about 8 or 10 years.Trucker Jo Thanks this. -
Volvo by far most comfortable. I've owned KW, Freightliner, International....Volvo much better as far as comfort goes.
Mr. PlumCrazy and Trucker Jo Thank this. -
I've been looking into a Freightliner Cascadia and they seem to have good looking and comfortable interiors. Have any of you had the chance to drive one?

Comfort of the mind or comfort of the butt? A Volvo may be ergonomically good but- I sure like "everything" about my truck

I drive a volvo780 I got to say I love it. But the international pro star is more comfortable. I hear pro star and cascadia are top two. But the pro star is a little more homey

Volvo 780 with front air bags suspension; the cab/sleeper is installed on the frame with shocks and adjustable air ride; D13 motor is quiet, cab well isolated, quiet inside, smooth ride, good size fridge, large sleeper lots of storage, large windshield with good visibility. Love it, great team truck. I would try a Bose seat also, but 7000$ , if you buy a new Volvo and add it in options package cost 3500$ only; worth the price, over 50% of us will get health problems with lower back after years otr.

My husband drove a freightliner cascadia for a little bit, I rode with him. I loved the way the storage was set up, passenger seat was comfortable enough. He says drivers seat was ok, but broke down somewhat. We both liked the space between the seats, better than the KW 600. Our KW t-2000 would be comfy if the seats weren't broke down. I don't really like the way storage is set up . . . .you can make a long distance call between the two seats.
