It's interesting to me how you all automatically make assumptions about the validity of my statement based upon a response. I also don't appreciate the statement from Jonrulerofearth that I lied, because I did not and the assumpation that all drivers lie is NOT cool. Just because a company responds doesn't automatically make it true and in this case, it's false. We had told the company that because there where about the same amount of overages in the mileage that there must be something amiss with the tires or something else causing this problem to continually occur, but I never asked to be paid and agreed with the mileages that were given to me, never once fought that. That is another outright lie on Mr. F's part claiming that I wanted pay for those miles. The time I did "go out of route" was during the blizzard that came through St. Louis and I hung south because of the blizzard, no other reason, just thinking of the companies truck, safety and I didn't want the chance of getting stuck because it would make the delivery late, not because it was the faster route. I ended up needing to clear routes with them instead of following the routes that came up in the truck, which I did to protect myself so they would pay me accordingly, but of course I wasn't paid correctly for those routes either.

The time I called for authorization for a check at 4:30 and was told not to call, was when I needed an authorization for a lumper fee. Plain and simple. This guy has terrible communication skills and will be running this company into the dirt. The drivers he has now will soon be gone as I was and we will probably see another complaint on here and maybe then you will believe me. Drivers are your bread and butter, not your enemy, treat them as so.

As far as Mr. F and Brenke Logistics goes, I will be taking them to small claims court to try and get the monies he still owes me. I will not be posting to this thread anymore but felt compelled since my report wasn't taken seriously.

Brisco, your right, went right to the jugular.
That seems to be how the game is played here. Not that its right or wrong.
You read so many posts or threads on here, most all are one sided with many holes in the stories.
When there is a response from the other party , its a shock.
In life most of us prejudge, this is true in oir courts too.
only the 2 of you know the truth.
    Good luck to yoi.

    nikmirbre and Brisco1 Thank this.

While the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle, that was one of the most satisfying beatdowns I've read on here.

Follow up to the thread I posted. Just would like to take a moment to thank Robert F. off Brenke for doing the right thing. He came through with pay that was due and we appreciate that. We are even and square now.

Thanks for taking care of business.

These were all HOS violations. No equipment violations. Speeding in a construction zone, failing to start a daily log, 14 hour rule violation, 11 hour rule violation -- all due to not starting his log book and speeding in a construction zone....
