Seven years is standard acceptance for a felony and five years is basically the minimum of time before most will consider you. Different companies "allow" different felonies. I don't know if you spoke with the school, maybe they have companies that hire with felonies but those recruiters didn't come while you were in class. Sometimes there are too many recruiters and not enough time to have them all in. Also, ask if someone at the school can call in a favor with a recruiter, it's not common but it's done.

 

Any school worth its salt should start raising red flags once they hear the word "felony".

They should require a pre-hire at the very least BEFORE they even let you enroll. too many schools are just interested in your money and wait until after youve already put your money down to start finding you a job.

 

Every company has a different policy when it comes to hiring felons. Keep looking, you will find one that will hire you. If the school has any integrity they will help you in your search.

 

exactly, when I tried to go to a private school they made me get at least 1 pre hire before enrolling, I got 3 pre hires right off the bat BUT I couldnt get the loan for the school, ended up going to Swift Academy instead.
