I've learned to ignore the GOAL message as much as the "cut back on idle" messages.... GOAL is only sent on nasty backing situations (on my truck that is).

well like I said on that part, if they attend orietation in Lebanon Tennessee, Richard preaches those subjects like it's the gospel and has to be done no matter what.

I just wanted to give fair warning on the subject so nobody would be blown away like I was. It kind of struck me all that we only take experienced drivers here but have such novice rules.

either way I recommend the company as it's kind of a good atmosphere and some what of the family oriented company. I say family oriented because ive missed two weeks because of my wife has bad luck in health here lately.. So we have been struggling but family reigns over money here.

lanes... well... all over the midwest area lol
northeast I havent done much of, a few trips into and out of new jersey, we have a drop yard in PA so I know theres a bunch of people running around up there. Im sure people who live in different areas travel around the same lanes, I was out of TN I did mostly TN, IL, OH, KY, IN some PA. now out of CO im I've been running around CO, KS, OK, TX, MO. of course sometimes other states on each but usually between those states

They are pushing hard for regional because our fleets are short handed. They even have some home daily fleets out in denver and further west but they have otr and you need to make sure to tell the recruiter.

We do practical.. but its not address to address, Iits zip to zip. They do route longest practical.. a previous company paid "practical" but routed us down every back road they could... *cough crete cough*..

They really try to keep us at 400-500 miles a day and dropping is much easier than my previous company.. They say we have drop yards.. lets use em. Being from mo, I run mainly midwest, see ohio some but also see Colorado a bit.. no texas yet tho.

As far as 63mph goes.. my friends say thier trucks run 64 and someones truck even runs 67. I heard the new kws we have run 68.. I will be honest.. the insurance is kinda lame for its price.. it covered my eye exam but didnt touch the 250 for my contacts.. they give ya 150 a year for glasses.. but im tired of glasses.. I wanna see without sweating or fogging my lenses.

I mean we will go to eloggs soon but a lot of our hos problems come from when the company trained and the "cowboys" before saltchuk bought out interstate.. my big things on eloggs is life doesnt always work how you plan and a lot of our customers dont allow over night parking but planners dont take that into consideration..

like dark said, we have a bit of everything... reefer which I believe is mainly on the west coast, regional, OTR, dedicateds, locals.... regional and OTR are pretty easy to get info on... the dedicateds and locals are here, but getting information on them is like pulling teeth... communication here is VERY lacking, but if you're just looking to run OTR then you don't really have anything to worry about lol, they have that down pretty good, keeping you running that is.

Got my new truck yesterday.... got on the road today, so now the bugs... navigation doesn't work, neither does the inverter, No prepass, No ezpass, guess I'll be stopping at every weigh station for a while. as far as like overnight parking and being short on time, if I know I only have an hour or so left on my clock, and I know I have a live load/unload... that thing isn't getting done until the next day. I know we have appts and such, but I'm not getting stuck in a situation like that
