Yes it is verifiable experience. Not exactly OTR, but it can be considered regional. I've hauled for the same company in the past in TX,OK,AR,LA,NM,AZ. and even took a load from AR. to ND. once.

You can get a good start at Halliburton; with Cementing and Coiled tubing and Tools. Now tools is something that people don't talk alot about. That department will make you 100K for sure in the Panhandle. If I were single I would do it; we had a guy come over to cement from there. He had been there 1 year and paid off his house. Its either Frac or Cement for tools; and you get a $100 for every plug you drop. Imagine being on a 18 Stage Frac Job? Where you going to drop a plug on every stage....

PS you will work 20+ days a month even though you get a company pickup truck; you will live out of it.

    Seattle,

Where can I get more information on tools as to what they do and what's required
that would'nt be a bad job for a 12-24 month time frame. Boy sounds like you could really sock away some good cash in very short timeframe. Looked on the Halliburton website
could'nt find anything about tools. Any information would be great.

Try fts and Pumpco. I worked at Pumpco and it was almost a requirement to have a felony.

Our contract ended and it just took too long to get back to fracing. Pumpco isn't the highest paying but they have lots of work and some really great people. Some of the training I got there was the best I could have asked for.
